What is the Spinter Online Panel?

Online panel - is the group of respondents who use the internet. Each registered panellist receives an invitation to complete a questionnaire on a specific topic in their email inbox. Panel members have completed the registration form in advance and have voluntarily agreed to take part in Spinter online surveys.

What does it mean to be a member of Spinter Online?

It's an opportunity to make your voice heard, to influence market decisions, to adjust products and services that are being developed or have already been developed, and to improve the environment in which you live.

Spinter online participants are not obliged to take part in all surveys, they can choose whether they want to take part in a particular survey upon invitation.

Use of information

Spinter tyrimai adheres strictly to the ESOMAR Code of Ethics for Researchers, respects the privacy of its respondents and ensures data security. All your personal data is processed accurately, securely and lawfully. "Spinter Research guarantees your confidentiality. All information relating to you is protected against accidental or targeted destruction, fraudulent use, disclosure or any other unauthorised interference.

Spinter online only processes information that you have voluntarily entered when registering or taking part in surveys. No additional information is collected about you.

Spinter online employees are subject to extremely strict confidentiality rules, so all information relating to you is carefully and professionally protected.

Selective questions and quota filling

In many cases, the survey requires selection criteria that can only be ascertained once the respondent has started to fill in the questionnaire, the so-called initial screening questions. In this case, if (1) the respondent does not meet the selection criteria (e.g. does not buy a certain type of food/does not use a certain service, etc.) or (2) the response quotas for the relevant socio-demographic characteristics have already been filled, the respondent will not be asked any further questions and no points will be deducted.

Unsubscribing

If you do not wish to participate in the surveys, you can unsubscribe from the panel at any time. To do so, you need to log in to your account and select UPDATE PROFILE > CLOSE ACCOUNT.

How do I become a spinter online member?

You can become a member of Spinter online by filling in the registration form at www.spinter.lt or by clicking here. You will receive invitations to participate in the surveys in your email inbox when you sign up. For each survey you complete, you will be awarded a number of points (as indicated on the invitation) which you can then redeem for a gift voucher of your choice.

After completing the initial registration form, a personal account is created for you, where you can keep track of all the points you've accumulated and edit or update your personal information.

Your personal account includes a questionnaire where you can provide more information about yourself. The more information you provide, the more likely you are to receive invitations to participate in studies.

Security and confidentiality

Spinter online is a completely secure and confidential way to express your opinion - all data about the respondent is used only for aggregate data analysis (for example to assess differences by gender, age or income group) in strict compliance with the ESOMAR Code of Ethics for Researchers. Spinter tyrimai guarantees that only invitations (active links) to participate in surveys will be sent to your email address - your contact details will not be used for the distribution of promotional information.

Participation in international research

Technical support for the Spinter online panel is provided by the international research platform Cint (more www.cint.com), which gives us the opportunity to invite you to participate not only in local research, but also in the various international studies being carried out in Lithuania. In such cases, you may see the logo of an agency other than Spinter Research on the questionnaire. Even in such cases, the third party does not have access to your personal data, and you were invited to participate in the study because the system selected you according to the socio-demographic criteria you provided. Regardless of the research agency the questionnaire is administered by, the points for a fully completed questionnaire are always scored in the spinter online panel.

The answers you give in the questionnaires are not stored with your personal data and cannot be linked to your identity. Our customers only receive aggregated responses.

If you would like to know what information we have collected about you, you can always do so by providing us with proof of your identity.

Allocation and use of points

For each questionnaire you complete, depending on the length and complexity of the questionnaire, your account will be topped up from €0.20 to €2.00. If you collect €10.00 or more, you can exchange your points for valuable gift vouchers.

No gift will be sent if the respondent cancels his/her membership after accumulating less than €10.00.

Once you've collected the required amount of money, you can exchange it for a gift voucher of your choice in your account.

Attention! Points may not be assigned to respondents immediately after completing the survey, but after the project is completed, i.e. within a few days.

OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

UAB "Spinter tyrimai" undertakes to:

1. to protect the personal information provided by spinter online members and to use it only for public opinion and market research purposes.

2. to guarantee the anonymity of spinter online members' responses (all responses will be analysed only in aggregate).

3. to inform Spinter Online participants about the points accumulated in their personal accounts.

4. once the spinter online participant has accumulated the required amount of points and has expressed his/her wish to redeem his/her points for the gift voucher of his/her choice, to send the selected gift voucher to the respondent by post within a maximum period of 30 calendar days.

OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

UAB "Spinter tyrimai" reserves the right to:

1. change the amount of points to be awarded or propose another form of thanking the respondent depending on the length of the questionnaire and the complexity of the questions

2. withhold or cancel the points awarded in the case of deliberately irresponsible completion of the questionnaire by the respondent (giving false or contradictory answers, trying to mislead the researchers, completing the questionnaire very quickly without looking into the questions, or having the questionnaire completed by another person)

3. in the event of recurring problems with the quality of the questionnaire, leading to a reasonable suspicion of dishonesty on the part of the respondent and abuse of the panel's reward system, block the respondent's account

4. not to send a gift in case a spinter online member cancels his/her membership after accumulating less than EUR 10.00 

5. terminate the survey when the required number of completed questionnaires has been collected

OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

UAB "Spinter tyrimai" is not liable:

1. for changes to the use of gift vouchers (gift vouchers established by third parties or other forms of incentives offered by us)

2. for interference with access to the spinter online website by third parties and beyond our control

1. provide true and correct information about yourself and your household at the time of registration

2. register only 1 time in spinter online

3. to give honest answers and opinions when answering the questionnaire

4. not to disseminate or make public any information obtained by completing the questionnaire sent by spinter online

How do I become a spinter online member?

You can become a member of Spinter online by filling in the registration form at https://spinter.lt or by clicking here.

Why do I need to provide so much personal information to register?

Often, studies focus on a particular target group, such as higher-income urban dwellers or women with pre-school children. With as much information about you as possible, we will know whether you are eligible for the study and whether we can send you an invitation.

We ensure that your personal information is kept secure, is used only for research purposes and is never shared with third parties.

If you prefer, you can omit some of the information (not marked with asterisks), but you may receive fewer invitations to take part in the surveys.

How long will it take me to complete the form?

Each invitation to take part in the survey will indicate the average time it will take to complete the survey, ranging from just a few minutes to 30 minutes. The most common is up to 15 minutes. The longer the survey, the more points you will receive.

How do I start participating in surveys?

You will be contacted by email when the survey you qualify for is completed. You will receive an email from spinter online in your email inbox with a link to the survey.

Why haven't I received an invitation to take part in the survey?

If you do not receive invitations to take part in surveys, it is likely that the study for which you are eligible is not currently ongoing.

I filled in the form but didn't get any points, why?

In many cases, the survey requires selection criteria that can only be ascertained once the respondent has started to fill in the questionnaire, the so-called initial screening questions. In this case, if (1) the respondent does not meet the selection criteria (e.g. does not buy a certain type of food/does not use a certain service, etc.) or (2) the response quotas for respondents with the relevant socio-demographic characteristics have already been filled up, no further questions are asked and no points are given.

I don't have a password

You need a password to log in to your account, see the amount of points you've accumulated and edit your personal details. Once you have registered with the system, your password will be automatically sent to your email inbox. If you do not receive your password, please contact us by email info@spinteronline.com.

How do I change my password?

If you do not receive invitations to take part in surveys, it is likely that the study for which you are eligible is not currently ongoing.

My personal data has changed, e.g. my email address, what should I do?

You can always edit your personal information by logging in to your existing account on Spinter Online. You can change or add everything from your email address to your hobbies. If you are unable to change any of your information, please contact us at info@spinteronline.com.

How do I unsubscribe?

If you decide that you no longer wish to receive invitations to take part in surveys, you can unsubscribe in a number of ways: 1. click on the "unsubscribe link" in the invitation to take part in the survey you have received; 2. log in to your account, click on "refresh your profile", and then click on "close my account"; 3. send us an e-mail at info@spinteronline.com.

If a respondent deletes his/her account and decides not to participate in online surveys anymore, all information related to him/her is automatically deleted from our system.

Is my personal data secure?

How and when can I take part in surveys?

Spinter online members can only take part in surveys if they have received an invitation in their email inbox with a link to the specific survey.

We recommend that you check your email regularly and fill in the questionnaire as soon as you have some free time.

How long do I have to fill in the form after receiving the invitation?

The normal duration of the test is 2-5 days. Occasionally, the time may be reduced to a day or extended to two weeks. Once the survey time has elapsed or the number of respondents has reached the required number, the survey is terminated and you will no longer be able to participate in the survey.

What can I do to get more invitations to surveys?

Each survey requires certain socio-demographic characteristics, and often the population consuming certain products or services, so the more information you provide about yourself and your household in your enrolment profile, the more likely you are to be invited to participate.

How do I know how many points I have accumulated? How can I use them?

You can view your accumulated points and all information related to points accumulation by logging in to your spinter online account at www.spinter.lt or by clicking on here.

For each questionnaire you complete, depending on the length and complexity of the questionnaire, your account will be topped up from €0.20 to €1.50. If you collect €10.00 or more, you can exchange your points for various gift vouchers.

Once you have collected the required amount of money, you can exchange it for a gift voucher of your choice by contacting us by email info@spinteronline.com.

No gift will be sent if the respondent cancels his/her membership after accumulating less than €10.00.

How quickly are points credited?

Points are usually awarded within 1-2 days, but in some cases, due to technical nuances, points may not be awarded until the project is completed (i.e. within 1-2 weeks).

I forgot my password

If you have forgotten your password, please click on the "Forgot your password?" link on your account login page. After entering your email address in the box provided, you will shortly receive a new password specially generated for you.

What is my username?

Your username is the email address you entered during registration.

Can I be removed?

Respondents are removed from the panel at their own request. UAB "spinter tyrimai" reserves the right to exclude from the panel inactive members who have been sent invitations but have not completed any questionnaire in the last two years.

Respect each other - let's work together in good faith.

We sincerely hope that our respondents will participate honestly in the surveys. We pay great attention to the quality of our surveys, and therefore we regularly carry out a logical analysis of completed questionnaires. In the case of an apparently illogical completion, the questionnaire will be considered as unfairly filled in, undermining the quality of the whole study and will be removed from the data set for analysis. No points will be awarded for such questionnaires (or cancelled if automatically awarded).
In case of regular malicious completions, the respondent may be removed from the panel without prior warning.

Intellectual property protection

All spinter online questionnaires are the intellectual property of UAB Spinter tyrimai and are protected by the relevant laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any unauthorized copying or use of the information contained in the questionnaires without prior agreement with UAB "Spinter tyrimai" is prohibited.
